Emma-Rose Dade is a UK-based freelance art director and maker with 15 years of experience across film, television, commercials and other creative projects.

With a background in animation, fine art and photography, Emma has a passion for working with tactile materials to realise designs.

She enjoys working with ambitious directors and designers who have a distinct style, and the challenge of realising their vision. From miniature stop-motion sets and props to full-scale and oversized builds, her work spans a variety of creative projects.

Alongside hands-on making, Emma is experienced in managing builds, crews, schedules and budgets. She takes a practical approach to planning and problem-solving, bringing in the right people to make things happen. Working in close collaboration with different departments to find solutions that work for everyone.

Driven by curiosity, she loves experimenting with materials, learning new techniques, working with good people and taking on interesting projects that push ideas further and bring something new to life.
